María Elena Caballero
Born in Montevideo - Uruguay on november 19, 1974
When she was a child, emigrated to Paraguay with his family so, she became paraguayan citizen.
It is self – taught, but studied photography with professor Stephen D’Cella and Martín Franco.
Granddaughter of Don Juan Zorrilla de San Martín, a notable poet and writer of Uruguay, and also daughter of Don Miguel Angel Caballero Figún, a renowned poet and journalist from Paraguay, since she was a child she was drawn to art.
She finished her English studies at the American Language Institute of Asunción, on 2001
Is currently completing her degree in “Internationals Relations” at American University in Asunción.
Her brief, but not less artistic curriculum includes the following exhibitions:
- June 2009: Sample Bi “Images and Brushstrokes” Manzana de la Rivera - Asunción - Paraguay
- July 2009: Exhibition in the gallery of the Bus Station of Asunción - Paraguay
- January to December 2009: Series of exhibitions in “Canvas” Shoping del Sol - Asunción -Paraguay
- September 2009: Collective Exhibitions “Images et Touches” Brussels - Belgium
- October 2009: Group show at the Embassy of Paraguay in Paris - France
- March 2009: Exhibition “Images and Strokes” Parque de la Amistad in Lima - Perú
